The chocolate museum in Barcelona is the first of its kind in Catalonia. Its realization was possible with the help of chocolate producers in the city and their suppliers. Their initiative is reflected in the privileged settlement of the museum itself.
Barcelona Chocolate Museum
Visitors can see a whole series of chocolate exhibits or helping to make them; from the seeds of the tropical cocoa tree to the statuettes or models of some famous buildings built of chocolate.
Exhibited include a chocolate statuette of the white gorilla at the Barcelona Zoo, Don Quixote, reptile at the entrance to Parc Guell or famous buildings of Antoni Gaudi. A visit to the chocolate museum can be very pleasant especially since you can eat the entrance ticket, this being a delicious chocolate.
